About Dry Creek Electric
We’re not a big-box contractor. We’re your neighbors — a family-owned team of licensed master electricians rooted in Southwest Colorado and committed to doing the job right.
Our Story
Built in Bayfield. Built to Last.
Dry Creek Electric was founded right here in Bayfield, Colorado — a small town with deep roots and a strong sense of community. We started with a simple belief: that Southwest Colorado deserves electricians who actually care about the quality of their work, not just the size of the invoice. From day one, we’ve operated on the principle that doing the job right means doing it once, doing it safely, and standing behind it.
We’re not transplants. We’re hunters, fishermen, ranchers, and outdoorsmen who know this land the way we know the back of our hands. When we show up to your property in La Plata County or drive up to a job in San Juan County, we understand the terrain, the weather, and what it takes to build something that holds up out here. Our crew has deep ties to this community — our kids go to school here, we shop at the same stores, and we see you at the hardware store on Saturday morning.
We built our reputation on residential and commercial electrical work throughout Durango, Bayfield, Pagosa Springs, Silverton, Ignacio, and Mancos. Word spread because the work speaks for itself. Now we’re expanding into luxury home builds and landscape lighting — not because we chased a trend, but because our clients kept asking us back for more. When a customer trusts you with their dream home, that’s something you don’t take lightly.
Hard work, honest pricing, and doing it right the first time — those aren’t just words on a website. They’re how this family operates. We serve all of Southwest Colorado, from Four Corners Crossing to the high passes of San Juan County, and we carry the same values to every job no matter how big or small.
What We Stand For
Our Values
Craftsmanship First
We don't cut corners. Every connection, every wire, every panel is done to last. Our work is something we're proud to put our name on.
Family & Community
We're your neighbors. We live here, work here, and raise our families here. When we do good work, it comes back to us — and we like it that way.
Mountain Tough
Colorado weather doesn't wait. Neither do we. Built for the high country — whether it's a blizzard in January or a job at 9,000 feet.
Honest & Fair
Upfront pricing, clear communication, no surprises on the bill. We tell you what it costs before we start, and we stick to it.
The Crew
Built by the People,
For the People
Every person on our crew is licensed, experienced, and proud to call Southwest Colorado home. Our work speaks for itself.

Master & Journeyman Teams
Every job has a master electrician on site. Our crews work in pairs — a master and a journeyman — so every connection meets code and exceeds expectations.
Mountain People
We're not just electricians who happen to work here. We're hunters, anglers, and shed hunters who know every ridge and creek in the San Juans. This is home.
